The Power of Alignment: Moving with God in This Season
Why Alignment with God Matters More Than Ever in This Season of Reformation and Obedience.
Sometimes, we have to pause. Not because we’re uninspired or unmotivated, but because we need to make sure we’re speaking what the Lord actually wants us to say.
Lately, I’ve found myself in that place—taking inventory, listening more, and ensuring that my words, actions, and focus are truly in alignment with Jesus.
In this season, alignment isn’t just important—it’s everything. It’s about staying in step with how the Spirit of God is moving, what He’s saying, and where He’s leading.
And sometimes, that requires silence—not just in speech or writing, but in action. It requires us to stop striving and start listening.
A Time of Reflection and Reformation
I just came off an incredible weekend of ministry, one that reminded me of the urgency of the hour. Being on the frontlines makes it clear:
The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37).
The Church is in a season of reformation, shifting into a new era where Jesus is refining and repositioning His people.
Some believers see this transition, while others remain unaware. Those who perceive it feel the tension and the weight of the fear of the Lord—they know the assignment, and that assignment is simple:
Make His presence a priority.
Stay rooted in prayer and intercession.
Remain steadfast in the Word.
In this season, the Lord is calling His people deeper—not into busyness, not into striving, but into His presence.
The More I Know, the More I Realize I Know Nothing
This past Tuesday, I celebrated my 38th birthday, and if this past year has taught me anything, it’s this:
-The more I grow in Christ, the more I realize how little I know.
-The more I try to do in my own strength, the more I understand that I can’t do anything without Him (John 15:5).
So my focus lately has been simple: staying in alignment with the Father—both in my personal walk and in ministry.
For my husband and me, that means staying faithful to Isaiah 61, the mandate the Lord has given us:
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners…” (Isaiah 61:1)
This calling isn’t about platforms, titles, or recognition—it’s about Jesus. Our true calling is to be more like Him, to embody who He is, and to seek His face daily.
A Season of Alignment: Getting My House in Order
Lately, Jesus has been leading me into a divine pivot—not just a shift in focus, but a call to get my house in order. Before I can pour out, I must ensure that what’s being birthed within me is firmly established.
This means prioritizing the foundation of faith in my household, deepening intimacy with the Lord for myself, and stewarding the assignments He’s given me with wisdom and intention. It’s not about doing more—it’s about aligning with His timing and priorities.
This is part of alignment. It’s not about producing content—it’s about being obedient to release what is needed, when it is needed. I refuse to move ahead of God, and I encourage you to do the same. If He is calling you to recalibrate, to refocus, or to get your own house in order—heed that call. Nothing is more important than being in step with Him.
If the Lord Is Calling You to Shift—Move!
I want to encourage you:
If God is calling you into deeper waters, GO.
If He’s leading you to make a shift, DO IT.
If He’s asking for obedience, YIELD TO HIM.
This is a season where obedience matters more than ever. The safest place you can be is exactly where God wants you, doing exactly what He’s calling you to do.
Reflection Questions
Where is God asking you to realign with Him?
Is there something He’s been prompting you to pause, shift, or step into?
Have you been moving in your own strength instead of waiting on His timing?
An Invitation to Walk in Alignment Together
I’d love to hear from you:
How has the Lord been calling you into deeper alignment in this season?

For the last year our intercession group has been praying alignment and for the last 4 months we have been praying and acknowledging the “ pause “ of God . He is removing the reasoning and assumption from the bride and calibrating her heart to pause in His holiness and hold fast to her peace , focused on Him alone in worship and thanksgiving, poised to move when He speaks- its beautiful !! Thank you for the confirmation of where we have been !
Absolutely, I feel this!
